Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team at

Wagamon based Homestay

. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards

. Need to focus and prepare mostly breakfast and dinner items

Ensure high-quality presentation and plating of dishes

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery

Assist with food preparation, storage, and rotation

Participate in menu planning and development

Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and inventory

Requirements:

2+ years of cooking experience in a hotel or resort setting

Culinary degree or certification (e.g., CMA, Culinarian)

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for long periods

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with international cuisine and specialty diets (e.g., vegan, gluten-free)

Knowledge of kitchen management software and point-of-sale systems

Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe)
