The Cook will be responsible for preparing healthy, hygienic, and nutritious meals for students and staff, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals as per the school menu and schedule.
Ensure food is hygienic, nutritious, and child-friendly.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining area.
Manage kitchen supplies, ingredients, and stock.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards strictly.
Assist in planning menus in consultation with the Admin/Management.
Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control.
Support during school events and special functions.
Requirements
Basic education (8th/10th pass preferred).
Proven experience as a Cook (school, hostel, or large-scale cooking preferred).
Knowledge of South Indian and North Indian cuisines.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Physically fit, disciplined, and reliable.
Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during peak hours.
Salary Range:
As per school norms, based on experience.
