Guest House & Caretaking Duties
o Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, common areas, and dining areas.
o Regular cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping; laundry (washing, ironing, folding).
o Monitor guest check-in/check-out, assist guests with their basic needs.
Maintenance & Safety
o Conduct minor repairs or liaise with contractors as needed for maintenance.
o Ensure safety and hygiene standards throughout the guest house (kitchen, washrooms, common areas).
o Keep records (maintenance, guest feedback, inventory as needed).
Procurement & Supplies
o Manage purchase of kitchen supplies, groceries, cleaning materials, etc.
o Maintain stock levels, ensure timely replenishment.
Reporting & Supervision
o Report to management on any issues (guest complaints, maintenance problems, supply shortages).
o Possibly supervise or coordinate with other housekeeping or kitchen staff (if applicable)
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in cooking + caretaking or guest house / hospitality role.
Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
Ability to multitask and manage time well.
Trustworthy, responsible, good communication skills.
