We are looking for an experienced and reliable chef to work at our homestay. The candidate should be well-versed in traditional and homestyle cooking, with a good understanding of guest preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
South Indian breakfast
(idli, dosa, upma, neerdosa, etc.)
Cook
South Indian lunch
(rice, sambar, rasam, vegetables, rotis, non-veg dishes if required)
Prepare
North Indian dinner
(chapati, dal, sabzi, paneer/chicken dishes)
Ensure good taste, hygiene, and consistent food quality
Manage kitchen cleanliness and basic inventory
Adjust spice levels and menu based on guest requirements
Requirements:
Good taste and experience in
South Indian & North Indian cuisine
Prior experience in homestay, hotel, or family kitchen preferred
Knowledge of hygienic cooking practices
Ability to cook for small to medium groups
Punctual, responsible, and flexible
