We are seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Co-Founder who will oversee daily operations, cultivate strong cross-functional collaboration, and work closely with the CEO on strategic planning and business development. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Collaborate with the CEO to set the company's vision, mission, and growth strategy.
Contribute to long-term planning, goal setting, and execution of company milestones.
Identify, prioritize, and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
Operations & Process Management
Implement, optimize, and oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and refine processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and quality.
Set and track operational KPIs; provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight
Work with the finance team to create and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting; monitor metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Help shape fundraising strategies, pitch to investors, and maintain investor relationships.
Team Development & Culture
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Oversee talent acquisition and retention; develop training programs and growth paths for team members.
Align all departments (product, sales, marketing, customer success) around key objectives and maintain open communication.
Product & Technology Alignment
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the product roadmap reflects company objectives and market demands.
Drive operational readiness for product launches; manage deadlines, deliverables, and cross-functional workflows.
Risk Management & Compliance
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, data privacy laws, and certification standards for EdTech.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Relations
Cultivate strategic partnerships with educational institutions, technology providers, and industry organizations.
Represent the company at conferences, media events, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
Startup/Entrepreneurial Experience:
Proven track record in scaling early-stage companies, ideally in the EdTech, SaaS, or similar sector.
Operational Expertise:
Minimum 5+ years in a senior operations or leadership role, with a focus on team-building, process optimization, and financial management.
Strategic Mindset:
Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment.
Financial & Analytical Skills:
Competent in budget forecasting, P&L management, and data-driven decision-making.
Leadership & Communication:
Excellent people management, negotiation, and communication skills; able to galvanize diverse teams around common goals.

Strong commitment to innovation in learning, teaching, and educational accessibility.
