Job Purpose

Operate, monitor, and control production processes involved in manufacturing activated carbon and related products. Ensure high levels of

safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with standard operating procedures

.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational

Operate and monitor process equipment (reaction furnaces, kilns, activation units, conveyors, pumps, etc.) in daily production. SmartRecruiters Adjust process parameters (temperature, feed rates, pressure, flow) to meet production targets and quality specifications. SmartRecruiters Conduct regular

operator rounds

to inspect plant operations and identify abnormal conditions. INEOS Careers Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for start-ups, shutdowns, sampling, and process changes. SmartRecruiters Record process data, logs, and shift reports accurately. INEOS Careers

Quality & Compliance

Ensure products meet defined

quality parameters

through in-process checks. INEOS Careers Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams for product sampling and analysis. SmartRecruiters Maintain compliance with

health, safety, and environmental (HSE)

standards. INEOS Careers Report and rectify unsafe conditions, process deviations, or potential hazards immediately. INEOS Careers

Maintenance & Support

Assist with routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of equipment. SmartRecruiters Prepare equipment for maintenance activities in coordination with the maintenance team. INEOS Careers Participate in housekeeping and plant cleanliness activities to ensure a safe work environment. INEOS Careers

Team & Training

Communicate effectively with shift teams and supervisors. INEOS Careers Help train new operators in basic process tasks and safety procedures. INEOS Careers

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Minimum: High School Diploma (10+2). Technical Diploma in

Chemical / Mechanical / Production / Industrial Safety

preferred.

Experience

Prior experience in

manufacturing/processing industries

(chemical, activated carbon, or heavy manufacturing) preferred. SmartRecruiters

Technical Skills

Good understanding of

industrial process controls
