A Conversion Optimization Wrangler (or Specialist) is primarily responsible for optimizing a company's marketing conversion funnel to increase the rate at which visitors convert into customers or leads. The role involves managing key conversion points such as landing pages, calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms. The specialist plans and executes A/B tests to measure and improve conversion performance, collaborates with other teams (content, email, social media) to align optimization strategies, and uses data analytics to identify barriers to conversion and user behavior insights.
Key duties typically include:
Managing and optimizing marketing funnel conversion points.
A/B testing and analyzing performance data to refine CTAs and user pathways.
Increasing conversion rates to generate more marketing-qualified leads for sales.
Enhancing website and campaign effectiveness in driving desired user actions.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive optimization efforts.
Applying user psychology and behavior analysis to improve user experience.
