Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

Job Requirements



Take full ownership of nuclear generator excitation control systems from concept to delivery. Release complete panel drawings (layouts, schematics, wiring, termination) and Bills of Material (BOM) for manufacturing. Develop, configure, and test excitation control software. Support software and hardware FAT. Support customers on assigned excitation system projects - technical queries, issue resolution, and project coordination. Prepare project documents, commissioning instructions, test procedures, and technical manuals. Provide technical input for sales proposals when required Ensure all designs comply with nuclear industry standards, safety regulations and internal quality processes Interact frequently with customers, suppliers, and internal teams Travel domestically and occasionally internationally for site support, customer meetings, or commissioning, if and when required. Follow established Quality Management System processes and tools

Desired Characteristics



Hands-on experience with tools like Toolbox ST, AutoCAD etc for schematics and layouts Experience developing and reviewing panel schematics, outline etc. Ability to review and approve vendor drawings for controllers, exciters, relays etc. Support during site commissioning, troubleshooting, signal checks, and interface problem solving. Prepare technical documents, BOQ, and as-built drawings. Comfortable working independently and handling multiple tasks/projects at once. Good communication and coordination skills with different teams and clients. Solid knowledge of power generation, generator excitation systems (AVR), and synchronization. Clear understanding of power plant control systems. * Familiar with nuclear or high-reliability standards (IEEE, IEC, ASME) and safety requirements.
