Job Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

Design and implement HMI applications for turbine control retrofit projects using a variety of HMI applications software packages. Install software on Windows based HMI computers. Provide technical support to software engineer in meeting customer needs on HMI applications. Design, implement and support communication networks for HMI applications. Provide technical support to customers over the phone and at customer locations when required. Provide technical support and feedback to Marketing and Sales teams on HMI software, hardware and networking issues. Assist with the development and improvement of processes and tools to help reduce cycle time on HMI projects.

Work Experience

Qualifications/Requirements:

Strong computer skills in setting up Windows based applications including Windows XP, 7, Windows Server a plus. Troubleshooting skills including hardware, software, and networking. Ability and willingness to travel when required. Good oral and written communication skills Motivated team player and self-starter, results oriented. Basic understanding of turbine control applications.

III. Desired:

Strong background in HMI application software including Proficy iFix, Cimplicity, Historian based products. BS in technical discipline or equivalent background. * Experience in Power Industry or in Oil&Gas.
