Layout Instrument and Telecommunication systems based on project specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, line list, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's), supplier and/or vendor drawings information and P&ID's.
Knowledgeable and able to operate 2D Drawing tools such as (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Smart Sketch Editor).
Knowledgeable in 3D Model review tools such as Navis Works and Smart Plant review (SPR).
Prepare and issue quality Instrument and Telecommunication deliverables such as Instrument & Telecommunication Location Layout and Tray and Wiring Layout, System Architecture, Room Layout, Level Sketch, Cable Schedule, Hook-up, Typical Installation, etc for take-off Bulk Material (Cable, Cable Tray, Pipe & Tube, Fitting, Hook-up Valve, Miscellaneous).
Perform model data consistency check, to do list and clash checks.
Work closely with Instrument and Telecommunication Design Engineers and Checkers to ensure Instrument and Telecommunication designs meet the project specifications and requirements.
Prepare BOM (Bill of Material) and Back Data
Extract Instrument Layout from 3D Modelling
Extract MTO from 3D Modelling
Main job & duties
Model Instrument and Telecommunication systems using the required 2D & 3D Software.
Prepare and issue quality Instrument and Telecommunication deliverables as per project requirements and project schedule.
Incorporate Designers and Checkers comments in 3D Model.
Communicate with peers for better ideas and solutions.
Coordination with another team
Coordinates with other team if needed to ensure that inter-related work is considered.
Report project main issues to Team Leaders and figure out resolutions together.
Control CAD/3D/SPI design including admin activity.
Capability
Awareness of Global Codes, Standards and Regulations
Knowledge of Control & Instrument and Design
Speaking English
Computer skill preferable (MS Word, Excel)
