You will be part of a fast-paced, future focused, collaborative team. On any day of the week you might provide guidance on the operational risks involved in a recent JPMC merger, acquisition, or new product development, design an advanced technology solution built with machine learning to process improvement, or proactively identify and assess high profile issues of utmost importance to C-suite level committees.

  • Provide day-to-day control management support for India\'s AWM PAG (BAU control questions relating to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) updates, User Tools, error management etc.)
  • Independent validation of action plans from business identified or 2 nd / 3 rd line of defense identified issues
  • Collaborate with the centralized CORE testing team for timely testing of India AWM PAG impacting controls.
  • partner with India AWM PAG on control design for strategic initiatives (e.g. SPARTA or PAT rollout)
  • Contribute to agenda for key control meetings, review India AWM PAG related materials in local control meetings, PAGC, BCCs etc.
  • Work with global PAG Controls team on Control & CORE initiatives
  • Develop a detailed understanding of current-state processes and procedures, identify weaknesses, gaps, opportunities for improvement and propose innovative business solutions to enhance / design control environment
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization with team such as the Portfolio Analysis Group, Risk, Compliance, Audit and other internal stakeholders.
You Bring:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience; financial services industry or background in Process Improvement or Risk Management preferred
  • Ability to influence, communicate and execute control initiatives within India AWM PAG
  • Ability to solve problems, examine and critically analyze process & control design with an eye towards client, firm, and regulatory impact
  • You are proactive, highly organized, accountable and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Think strategically and partner with India AWM PAG on developing sustainable controls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details
  • A positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
