About the Role
Control manager is expected support functionally to meet the BCM goals and control coverage requirements supporting Markets, Banking and Commercial Real Estate business groups. The job involves interacting with the business group managers, onshore/offshore partners to understand and analyze the processes, identify risks and controls in the processes, evaluate the controls, End to End Issue Management support for Corporate Investment Banking, Markets, Banking and Commercial Real Estate and publish various reports to stakeholders.
Should have sound understanding of risk management principles. Be a subject matter expert with respect to Corporate Investment Banking.
Role is responsible for ensuring appropriate control coverage is provided for the assigned business group, be a strong partner for business group to identify risk, control gaps and help to remediate any issues. Responsible to assist for control forums and provide necessary reporting for the assigned business group.
Some of the Day-to-Day Responsibilities but not limited to

Executing RCSA for respective lines of business Markets, Banking and CRE
Monthly Audit and T&V report review
Quarterly Operational Risk Report
Issue Management - End to end Issue Management support for WFBNA regions. Issue Mgmt includes - Issue Identification, Escalation, Root Cause Analysis and Documentation, Process/Control Assessment and Design, EBCE Design, KRI/KPI Design and Monitoring, Issue and Corrective Action Lifecycle Monitoring, Sustainability Validation, Tollgate Readiness, and Issue Closure Validation
Audit/Testing/Regulatory Exam Support
Business and Data Analysis - Assess and Maintain risk element/program information. Maintain store of data for risk information, track changes, conduct analysis, produce rolling 12 months and MoM views and trend/pattern commentary
BCM Heatmap / Dashboards / Capacity Analysis - Collect key metrics (IM, RCSA, ORE, etc.) that have been identified as having the most significant impact on BCM capacity.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

Overall experience of 15-20 years with 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Services industry and / or risk & control domains covering operational risk, controls testing / evaluation, compliance, internal audit, risk management etc.
Audit or internal control evaluation experience.
Strong risk and control fundamentals experience.
Comprehensive understanding of risk types, methodologies and frameworks for evaluating or testing controls and assessing results, conducting research, and identifying control deficiencies.
Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; additional experience analyzing business and/or systems changes to determine impact.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality output.
Skillfully builds constructive and effective relationships. Delivers on commitments and renegotiates when needed. Strong sense of accountability.
Ability to influence and consult strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications

Risk Management Certification Programs.
Comprehensive understanding of operational risk management in the financial services industry.
Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives.
Experience in assessing risk, reviewing risk ratings, and identifying control deficiencies.
Demonstrated negotiation skills, especially with difficult topics when partnering with senior management. This includes the willingness and ability to question decisions, understand direction and escalate issues, where necessary.
Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly.
