Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Control & Instrumentation Engineers for Installation, Maintenance and Service of Flowmeters to be installed at different industries site locations. To guarantee that projects are finished on schedule, within budget, and to the necessary specifications, you will collaborate with clients, other engineers, and technicians.

Key Responsibilities

To install Flowmeters for Compressed Air applications in different industries to measure compressed air flow, consumption, pressure, temperature and dew point etc. Choose and specify instrumentation parts, such as controllers, transmitters, and sensors. Using CAD software, create schematics, diagrams, and layouts for control systems. Using software tools like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems, develop and put into practice control plans. For planned initiatives, carry out cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies. Ensure that projects are finished on schedule and under budget by working together with project managers, other engineers, and clients. Review and approve instrumentation and control system design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to clients and other stakeholders. Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are designed and installed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members. Keep abreast on new developments in the field of instrumentation and control systems as well as market trends. Provide pre-sales product information and detailed project report on solution to industrial customers, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering customer inquiries. Work with customers to understand their requirements and design customized solutions that meet their needs. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product improvements. Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials to support the sales process. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications:

B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering

Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience in Installation, Maintenance and Service of Flowmeters or equivalent systems.

Candidates with Strong understanding of Modbus networks integration with other systems, such as PLC and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) will be preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Ability to solve complex problems and design customized solutions for customers.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Steel Plants, Power Plants, Cement industries, Aluminium Smelters, Food, Pharma, Beverages, Packaging machines etc.

Familiarity with Pneumatic products and accessories.

Strong project management skills to coordinate technical sales efforts.

Assess customer requirements, analyse system needs, and recommend suitable product solutions based on their technical knowledge.

Product Demonstrations:

Deliver technical presentations and demos to potential clients, explaining product features and functionalities clearly.

Sales Support:

Collaborate with the sales team to identify leads, qualify opportunities, and provide technical expertise during the sales cycle.

Problem Solving:

Answer customer questions, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions to address client concerns.

Proposal Development:

Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, including pricing and technical specifications, to meet customer needs.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with clients, maintaining ongoing communication and providing post-sale support.

Market Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

Required skills:

Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of the product's technical specifications, applications, and functionalities in the segment of Pneumatics, Vacuum Automation and Compressed Air Treatment

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to clearly explain complex technical concepts to customers.

Presentation Skills:

Ability to deliver engaging and informative presentations to potential clients.

Sales Acumen:

Strong sales skills including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyse customer needs and identify appropriate solutions.

Problem-solving Skills:

Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Relevant experience:

Installation, Maintenance and Service of Flowmeters used for measuring Compressed Air flow for industrial applications.
