Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to construction projects.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in contract terms and recommend measures to mitigate these risks.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all contract terms are adhered to and that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
• Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and according to the financial terms outlined in contracts.
• Documentation Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and issues, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders.
• Software Proficiency: Auto-CAD, Revit, SAP2000

Requirements

• Experience: 2-6 years of experience as a Contracts Engineer in the real estate or construction industry.
• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks in contract terms.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contract preparation and execution.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with real estate contracts
• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
