Identify, call, and vet contractors across multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, painting, renovation, etc.)
Negotiate pricing, timelines, and contracts to ensure competitive rates and quality service
Maintain a database of approved contractors with detailed notes on pricing, quality, and performance
Coordinate and schedule contractors for active projects
Resolve conflicts, handle contractor or client issues, and ensure smooth project delivery
Conduct quality checks (in-person or remotely) and follow up on completed work
Build long-term relationships with reliable contractors and suppliers
Provide regular reports to management on contractor performance, cost savings, and project updates
Work closely with the operations team to streamline project flow and ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in contractor management, construction coordination, or vendor relations
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Basic understanding of construction trades and project workflows
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
Proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, and basic project tracking tools
Valid driver's license and ability to visit sites when required
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with subcontractors or trade vendors
Knowledge of the construction or maintenance industry in Ontario
Ability to multitask and manage multiple contractors at once
Professional and confident phone communication skills
