Job Description

The Contractor Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing, reviewing, and submitting invoices for construction or service-related projects. This role ensures that all billing aligns with contract terms, project progress, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction billing, including AIA billing, time and materials (T&M), and progress billing formats.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients per contract terms. Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure billing accuracy. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and accounting teams to gather necessary billing documentation. Ensure all supporting documents (e.g., lien waivers, certified payroll, timesheets) are included with invoices when required. Track and resolve billing discrepancies, disputed charges, or delayed payments. Maintain detailed records of all billed and unbilled items. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices. Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and industry standards. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting as it relates to revenue recognition and billing status. Support internal and external audits by providing required billing documentation.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
