What would you do? The team extends legal supports in documenting reviewing and negotiating, advising Business and Procurement teams, template management terms and conditions through contracts/sub contracts, proposals, service agreements, NDAs, Statements of Work, and other operational documents relating to various operating groups in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements; it also encompasses the need to liaise & collaborate with other stakeholders and teams within Accenture, like, deal teams, solution architects, finance, HR, Controllership, procurement, etc., as well as, with subcontractors/vendors. Additionally, contribute to Global Legal Network over and above the days job, in GLN related initiatives. 1) Advise: Act as a point of contact from legal and work closely with the stakeholders to help them understand the contractual clauses in terms of interpretation and its applicability in the contract basis the business opportunity. Advise the Business from legal perspective to address the potential contractual risks that may pose as risks to Accenture business operations. Conduct legal risk assessment by identifying and flagging potential risks to Accenture and provide recommendations to Business to enable them to understand the extent of risk posed on Accenture and to minimize or mitigate such risks effectively. 1) Compliance: Understand company s approval processes in context of the services and ensure that all stakeholders are timely engaged and informed on the relevant process including understanding the Code of Business Ethics (COBE), Data Privacy & ,Information Security Anti-Corruption Laws and related policies and apply the same to ensure compliance and manage the Accenture deals within the procurement or Corporate Functions domain. Assist the lead to upload new/relevant templates of Agreements, amendments, affiliate addendums, NDA's etc. on the SharePoint. Work with the lead on the revisions of the existing templates, whenever a need arises to modify the clauses to suit the changing business requirements and local laws. Accordingly upload the modified template on the Sharepoint Maintain templates of agreements, amendments, affiliate addendums and assist the lead to
What are we looking for? Qualifications: Education and Work Experience: o Qualified lawyer o More than 7 years of experience in contract review and drafting, stakeholder management Knowledge and Skill Requirements: o Strategic thinking skills o Excellent people management skills and stakeholder management. Problem solving attitude o Excellent understanding of Accenture services o Excellent oral and written communication skills o Understands and able to navigate Accenture Legal and the Accenture business o Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills o Excellent judgment o Highly developed touch and tone. 1) Contract Drafting, Reviewing and Negotiation: Draft, review and negotiate the supplier/buyside agreements with Accenture suppliers, to procure various goods and services including but not limited to Contactors, Human Resources Support, IT & Telecom, Marketing & Communications, Workplace Support (Facilities & Services), Software as a Service etc. in accordance with Accenture's supplier's contracting standards, applicable laws, and business requirements. Customize the existing templates in exceptional cases to suit the business requirements thereby ensuring compliance to applicable local laws and Accenture's supplier's contracting standards. Review the supplier templates and ensure that the deviations to the Accenture's supplier's contracting standards are timely identified and highlighted to the business whenever they pose as risks to Accenture operations. Participate in negotiations with suppliers, third parties, vendors etc., to agree to contractual terms in accordance with Accenture's supplier's contracting standards, applicable laws, and stakeholder requirements. Liaise and effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders such as deal teams, Solution Architects, Procurement, HR, Workplace, Finance, Marketing & Communicat
