The Role: As a Contract Technical Talent Sourcer (R&D) for Guidewire\'s Product Engineering Teams in India, you will play a key role in supporting our hiring initiatives across Bengaluru and Chennai Development centers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Sourcer to contribute to the growth of our innovative and collaborative team.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Talent Sourcer to join our dynamic Global Talent Attraction Sourcing team.

Term: 6 months Contract (Further extensions based on business needs and contractor performance etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the High Performing Talent Attraction team to understand hiring needs and priorities for the Engineering Teams.

Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies, including social media, professional networks, and industry events, to identify and engage top-tier talent.

Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

Meet or exceed targets set by the manager, ensuring alignment with broader talent attraction goals.

Conduct thorough screening assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, interest, and cultural fit.

Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Guidewire\'s values and opportunities to potential candidates.

Provide insights and market intelligence to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.

Foster positive relationships with candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

Attend and actively contribute to global team meetings, providing updates on sourcing activities and aligning strategies with talent attraction goals.

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the sourcing pipeline, detailing progress, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.

Undertake other sourcing responsibilities assigned by the manager based on business needs.

Skills Required:

Sourcing Skills:

Proven ability to identify and source qualified candidates proficient in Java, Golang, Python, and other relevant technologies.

Mastery of Boolean search techniques tailored to technical positions.

Utilization of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools with a focus on tech-oriented searches.

Exceptional candidate closing skills at the sourcing stage, ensuring successful engagement and commitment.

Specialized experience in sourcing for SaaS and cloud companies in the Indian market.

Effective use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Linkedin X-Ray and other social media platforms for talent identification and engagement.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in articulating complex technical concepts.

Ability to craft compelling InMail messages that entice candidates to respond and engage in further discussions.

Effective engagement with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborative communication with hiring managers and cross-functional teams.

Analytical Skills:

Data-driven decision-making and analysis of sourcing metrics, especially related to tech roles.

Tracking and reporting on performance metrics for technical sourcing.

Networking:

Proactive networking within the tech community and engagement with professionals proficient in Java, Golang, Python, AI, ML, and related technologies.

Building and maintaining relationships with tech communities, forums, and organizations.

Adaptability:

Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the tech industry and recruitment processes.

Quick understanding and adaptation to new programming languages, technologies, and tools.

Time Management:

Efficient organization and management of multiple technical sourcing tasks and projects.

Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work in sourcing.

Attention to Detail:

Thoroughness in screening and assessing candidates\' proficiency.

Detailed documentation and tracking of candidate interactions.

Candidate Assessment:

Ability to conduct in-depth assessments of candidates\' technical skills.

Collaboration with technical teams to ensure alignment between candidate skills and job requirements. \
