The Contract Manager will be responsible for contract administration and commercial management of infrastructure projects including railway stations, metro rail, and flyovers. Key Responsibilities
Establish and manage an effective contract management system for infrastructure projects.
Prepare Contract Appreciation Documents for project stakeholders.
Review contracts and handle day-to-day contractual correspondence.
Support site execution teams with contractual notices, claims, and interpretations.
Draft, review, and issue contractual letters and notices as per contract conditions.
Monitor project cash flow, verify bills, certify payments, and maintain payment records.
Ensure timely contractual submissions in line with contract timelines.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, authority engineers, and vendors to avoid misinterpretation of contract conditions.
Review and assist in preparation of claims for variations and extensions of time (EOT).
Assist project managers in resolving contractual issues and disputes.
Analyze delays, identify critical activities, and support delay analysis.
Ensure compliance with FIDIC, Railway, Metro, and other applicable contract conditions.
Maintain contract-related records such as RFIs, drawings register, site instructions, and approvals.

Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of contract management in infrastructure projects
Experience in railway, metro, flyover, or similar projects
Familiarity with FIDIC and Indian standard contract conditions
Claim management and contractual correspondence skills
Cost control, billing, and cash flow monitoring
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
