Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
including item descriptions and construction methodology as per design, drawings, and site requirements.
Estimate quantities from AutoCAD drawings for
civil and finishing items
.
Float inquiries to contractors and vendors based on the BOQ.
Conduct
rate analysis
for civil and finishing work items in line with current market rates of materials and labor.
Study architectural and structural drawings and coordinate with
consultants and architects
to resolve technical issues or drawing discrepancies.
Prepare
comparative statements
based on received vendor quotations and technical specifications.
Lead
contractor meetings
for negotiations and finalization of rates.
Draft and issue
Work Orders, Amendments, and Techno-commercial documents
with required approvals.
Maintain organized documentation of all work across phases, trades, and projects (both hard and soft copies).
Regularly follow up with vendors, architects, and consultants to ensure timely work progress and drawing approvals.
Coordinate closely with the
site team
for project monitoring.
Supervise
billing, procurement, material reconciliation
, and liaise with the
Accounts team
for timely payment processing.
Candidate Requirements:
3 to 5 years
of hands-on experience in
contract management
within the
construction / real estate / property development
sector.
Proficiency in
BOQ preparation
,
AutoCAD-based quantity take-off
, and vendor management.
Strong knowledge of market rates and civil/finishing item specifications.
Excellent coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Should be well-versed with MS Office, AutoCAD, and documentation protocols.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (site, accounts, architects, and vendors).
