Job Summary:



The Continental Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality continental dishes in accordance with Sage & Lavender's standards. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook continental dishes (such as pastas, salads, grilled meats, soups, and sauces) as per menu standards. Ensure all food is prepared fresh, in the right portion size, and presented attractively. Assist in developing new dishes and improving existing recipes based on customer feedback and chef's guidance. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstation at all times. Check and maintain proper storage of ingredients and monitor stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI norms). Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service during operations. Support junior staff and help in training them when required. Report any equipment malfunction or shortage of supplies to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef immediately.

Qualifications & Experience:



Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a continental or multi-cuisine restaurant. Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred. Strong knowledge of continental cuisine techniques and ingredients. Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality and consistency.

Skills Required:



Excellent culinary and plating skills. Good time management and organizational ability. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety.

Work Schedule:



Full-time position; flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per restaurant operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
