Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of continental dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and operates efficiently, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Support the senior chefs in the daily kitchen operations, including prepping ingredients and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and notify senior chefs of any shortages or necessary orders.
Participate in training sessions and actively seek opportunities to develop culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and culinary techniques.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
