Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled

Commis I - Continental

to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. The ideal candidate will have a flair for continental cuisine and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook continental dishes in accordance with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Assist in the daily Activity and ensure the workstation is organized and clean. Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen. Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine menu offerings. Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages to the Sous Chef. Ensure timely and efficient service during meal periods.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a reputable hotel or restaurant. Proficiency in continental cooking techniques and presentation. Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
