1. Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare, cook, and present continental dishes (e.g., pasta, steaks, grills, salads, soups).
Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation styles.
Maintain consistency and quality in taste and appearance.
2. Menu Planning
Assist in creating and updating the continental menu.
Suggest new dishes or improvements based on seasonal ingredients and trends.
3. Kitchen Operations
Ensure the section runs smoothly during service.
Coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff for timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
4. Food Safety & Hygiene
Adhere to HACCP and kitchen safety standards.
Monitor proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
Assist in managing stock levels and minimizing waste.
Ensure efficient use of ingredients and supplies.
6. Teamwork & Training
Support junior staff and train them in continental cooking methods.
Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
