Continental Commis Chef
to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Continental cuisine, dedicated to maintaining high culinary standards, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental dishes.
Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen as per hotel standards.
Support senior chefs in daily operations and mise-en-place.
Ensure timely and quality food preparation during service hours.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience as
Commis 2 or Commis 1
in Continental cuisine.
Strong knowledge of basic Continental dishes, sauces, grilling, sauteing, etc.
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene standards.
Hotel experience preferred; immediate joiners highly desirable.
