Follow standard recipes and maintain food quality, taste, and presentation.
Handle grilling, roasting, sauteing, frying, baking, and plating techniques.
Ensure all mise-en-place (pre-preparation) is completed before service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Check freshness, quality, and proper storage of raw materials.
Monitor stock levels and inform the chef for replenishment as needed.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines strictly.
Assist in menu planning, new dish creation, and portion control.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as a Continental Cook / Commis Chef.
Knowledge of Continental cuisines, sauces, and cooking methods.
Strong understanding of kitchen tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Good time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary diploma/certificate preferred.
