Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
Experience:
0-2 years for Commis 3; 1-3 years for Commis 2 (in continental or cafe-style kitchen preferred).
Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of continental dishes (pasta, grills, sauces, salads, sandwiches, etc.).
Support senior chefs (CDP / DCDP) in daily kitchen operations and in Cafe counters.
Maintain mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Follow standard recipes and portion control to ensure consistency.
