Position- Continental Chef Job Type : Full Time Industry : Hospitality- Caf / Restaurant Department & Category : F & B Production - Kitchen Salary: CTC 2,00,000 LPA to 2,40,000 LPA, depending on past experience About Company (Redbrick Retail Private Limited) This company is a food-tech startup based in Patna. It was founded in the year 2019 with a vision to make a set of leading home grown food & beverage brands. With more than 10 units and two brands the company is currently involved in operations across three states i.e. Bihar, Karnataka & Uttar Pradesh. Cafe Hideout & Biryani Grills are two F&B brands which are present on streets and serve the guests. Both the brands work on hybrid models serving online as well as offline customers. Currently the company serves more than one lakh customers every month and the count is growing on a monthly basis. Job brief Preparation, cooking and presenting Continental dishes. Maintain a cooking speed, consistency in blending in-house spices, preparing sauces, using the right balance of spices, herbs & ingredients to produce consistent flavour. Cooking dishes to order and according to dietary requirements of customers, if required. Establish a food budget, cost controls measures, actively participate with management in planning special menus, cost-effective promotional ideas. Carry out other supervisory duties as appropriate and as requested by the Head Chef. Should have knowledge of food hygiene requirements. To maintain all equipment through due care and diligence as instructed. Responsibilities Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients Cook food in a timely manner Delegate tasks to kitchen staff Inform wait staff about daily specials Ensure appealing plate presentation Supervise Cooks and assist as needed Slightly modify recipes to meet customers\' needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy) Monitor food stock and place orders Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients Requirements And Skills Proven work experience as a Continental Chef Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment. Advanced knowledge of culinary Leadership skills Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks Excellent time management abilities Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Familiarity with sanitation regulations Experience Experience Should be 2 yrs+ as Continental Chef.
