Job Description

• Drive innovation through culinary research on the Foodservice platform, including trends within food industry, menu development, restaurants, and in-market analysis
• Develops the recipes and applications for product development projects with culinary creativity and passion
• Support product improvement projects by designing and conducting applications including baking, frying, saucing, various prepared foods combining cheese with other dairy components, meat, and other spices for complete functionality testing of our cheeses.
• Provides technical expertise and culinary knowledge ensuring that regional/channel taste and quality expectations are met for innovation and renovation projects
• Articulates culinary trends as well as industry/operator landscape changes through presentations both internally and externally
• Proactively research and stay abreast of culinary/ menu/consumer/ category trends, provides update team and coach on regular basis/incorporate into day-to-day culinary pipeline exploration.
• Self-motivated in work with minimal supervision needed with strong skills in organization, record keeping, and follow ups.
• Works towards bringing thoughtful recommendations to cross functional teams that drive business results. Ability to substantiate recommendations with sound research, reasoning, and data.
• Interface effectively with other supporting teams (Sales, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Finance, Operations, FSQ, etc.) to move projects forward and to work through identified issues.
• Provide ongoing culinary support and organization for all Food Shows/Events/ideation sessions as needed by business objectives.
