Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and creative

Continental Chef

to prepare a wide variety of European and Western-style dishes. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary expertise in continental cuisine, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality food with consistent presentation and taste.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes, including starters, mains, and desserts Plan menus and ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation Manage kitchen operations related to continental cuisine, including food preparation and storage Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and minimize wastage Ensure that all dishes are prepared in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and efficient workflows Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times Assist in creating new recipes and seasonal menus Coordinate with other kitchen departments to ensure smooth service delivery

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred) 3-5 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or resort kitchen Expertise in European cooking techniques and ingredients Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and culinary tools Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments
