Key Responsibilities:
Commis 1:
Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes with minimal supervision.
Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
Manage mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
Supervise and guide junior staff (Commis 2 and 3).
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Commis 2:
Assist Commis 1 and chefs in the preparation and presentation of continental dishes.
Follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Maintain workstation and ensure ingredients are properly stored.
Ensure basic kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
Commis 3:
Support senior chefs in basic food preparation tasks like chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist in dishwashing and storage.
Learn and develop culinary skills under supervision.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a continental kitchen preferred (duration varies by level).
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
