Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate

continental chef

to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in preparing and presenting a wide range of continental dishes and maintaining high standards of food quality, kitchen hygiene, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of

continental cuisine,

including but not limited to Italian, French, Mediterranean, and European dishes. Ensure the

quality, taste, and presentation

of all food items are in line with restaurant standards. Assist in the creation of new recipes and seasonal menus under the guidance of the head chef. Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times (complying with food safety standards). Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and support other team members as needed. Maintain portion control and minimize food waste.

Requirements:

1-5 years

of proven experience as a continental chef or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of continental cooking techniques and ingredients. Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution (preferred). Strong understanding of

food safety and sanitation

regulations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Creativity and a passion for culinary arts. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
