Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook continental dishes following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Plan and develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency in all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with the storekeeper for ingredient requirements.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service hours.
Monitor food cost and minimize wastage through efficient management.
