Responsible for managing the Continental kitchen section, ensuring smooth preparation of western dishes and maintaining high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle preparation and presentation of dishes like steaks, pastas, soups, salads, and European mains.
Lead a team of Commis chefs and allocate tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in workstations.
Ensure food is cooked to required taste and consistency.
Maintain stock and order ingredients.
Innovate and introduce new dishes.
Train junior staff and ensure compliance with HACCP/FSSAI guidelines.
Requirements:
Culinary diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in Continental cooking.
Creativity in presentation and flavor.
Ability to work long shifts in a high-volume kitchen.
