Position:

Commis 1 - Continental

Department:

Kitchen (Continental Section)

Reports to:

Chef de Partie / Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities



Prepare and cook continental food items as per standard recipes and quality norms Assist Chef de Partie in daily mise en place and service operations Ensure food is prepared, portioned, and presented consistently Follow SOPs, recipes, and plating standards strictly Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area as per food safety standards Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any faults Store raw materials and prepared food correctly (FIFO method) Support junior staff (Commis 2 / Commis 3) when required Minimize food wastage and control portioning Follow HACCP, hygiene, and safety guidelines at all times Assist during buffet setup, live counters, and a la carte service

Skills & Requirements



Basic to good knowledge of continental cuisine Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety Ability to work under pressure during service hours Team player with good communication skills Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Experience & Qualification



Minimum

1-2 years experience

in a continental kitchen Hotel Management / Culinary certificate preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,315.03 - ₹24,444.95 per month

Work Location: In person
