About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Dehradun. The ideal candidate will bring strong culinary expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to craft exceptional dining experiences while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
Develop creative menus in line with market trends and customer preferences.
Ensure adherence to quality, taste, and hygiene standards across all dishes.
Manage kitchen staff through effective training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
Control food cost, inventory, and wastage while maintaining profitability.
Collaborate with management on seasonal promotions and special events.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen safety standards.
Build a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the culinary team.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of culinary experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior/Head Chef role.
Strong expertise in multi-cuisine menu creation and execution (Continental/Indian/Asian preferred).
Proven ability to manage and mentor kitchen teams effectively.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory, and cost management.
Passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Education:
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or equivalent preferred.
