The Senior Content Writer is responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and strategic content across multiple platforms. This role involves content planning, mentoring junior writers, ensuring brand voice consistency, and contributing to content marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

Write and edit high-quality content for websites, blogs, articles, case studies, whitepapers, and landing pages Create content for social media, email campaigns, ads, and marketing collaterals Develop content aligned with brand voice, marketing strategy, and business goals
SEO & Digital Content

Create SEO-optimized content using relevant keywords Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to improve organic visibility Update and optimize existing content for performance
Editorial & Quality Control

Proofread, edit, and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency Maintain content guidelines and editorial standards Ensure error-free, plagiarism-free content delivery
Team Collaboration & Mentoring

Guide and mentor junior content writers Review team content and provide constructive feedback Coordinate with designers, marketers, and subject matter experts
Research & Industry Awareness

Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior Stay updated with content marketing trends and best practices
Content Performance & Reporting

Track content performance using analytics tools Suggest improvements based on engagement and conversion metrics

Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong storytelling and editing abilities Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital platforms Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Attention to detail and creativity

Qualifications

Bachelor's / Master's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field 1-4years of relevant content writing experience
