Duties

Develop high-quality written content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials. Proofread and copy edit all content to ensure clarity, grammar, style consistency, and adherence to AP style or Chicago Manual of Style as required. Conduct thorough research to gather accurate information and verify facts through credible sources. Edit and refine drafts to improve readability, tone, and overall quality. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce creative content that aligns with brand guidelines. Write proposals, technical documents, or journalistic articles as needed. Maintain a consistent voice and style across all content pieces while tailoring messaging for specific audiences. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in writing, editing, and content marketing.

Qualifications

Proven experience in writing, editing, or journalism with a strong portfolio of published work. Excellent proofreading, copy editing, and editing skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Proficiency in AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, and technical writing standards. Skilled in research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy of information presented. Ability to write creatively as well as professionally for various formats including proposals and technical documents. Experience with word processing tools and content management systems. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of copywriting principles and proposal writing is a plus. Creative writing skills are desirable for engaging storytelling and brand development purposes.
