We are now looking for a full-time English Content Writer who can write organically and insightfully. The person must understand language, storytelling, and digital behavior beyond AI prompts.
Role Overview
The Content Writer will be responsible for developing original, high-quality written content across Spark Plug's client brands, and digital platforms.
This role goes beyond writing captions or blog posts. It requires someone who can think like a storyteller, research like a strategist, and write like a human, while also knowing how to use AI tools intelligently to refine ideas or enhance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Brand and Campaign Writing
Write creative, meaningful, and brand-aligned content for social media, websites, video scripts, brand films, and campaign taglines.
Adapt tone and storytelling style for different industries including lifestyle, fashion, F&B, entertainment, and digital-first brands.
Collaborate with the strategy and creative teams to translate ideas into powerful written narratives.
Long-Form and Thought Content
Write articles, blogs, show notes, and conversational scripts for podcasts and talk shows such as The Bhargavi Show: Unfiltered.
Research and develop long-form storytelling formats that balance emotional depth with clarity and readability.
Video and Script Writing
Work closely with the Video Production team to script brand films, YouTube videos, and digital storytelling content.
Write copy for video campaigns, voiceovers, and digital shorts that maintain narrative flow and brand personality.
Content Strategy and Ideation
Participate in brainstorming sessions with strategists, designers, and directors to conceptualize campaigns.
Bring creative ideas to life with clear, crisp, and well-researched copy.
Understand SEO and platform-specific writing styles such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube without losing originality.
Collaboration and AI Integration
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Notion AI, and Grammarly for structuring, refining, or idea generation, not for dependent writing.
Maintain human creativity, emotion, and cultural sensitivity in every piece of content.
Collaborate with designers and social media teams to ensure that visuals and copy align tonally.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years of professional writing experience in an agency, media, or brand environment.
Strong command over English language, tone, and storytelling.
Proven ability to write for both brand and entertainment content.
Deep understanding of content tonality across platforms such as social media, blogs, and video scripts.
A thinker who can merge creative intuition with strategic clarity.
Knowledge of AI tools and how to use them intelligently without compromising originality.
Highly organized, deadline oriented, and adaptable to multi-brand writing.
Good to Have
Experience in a creative or advertising agency.
Interest in film, culture, and modern storytelling formats.
Basic understanding of SEO and keyword mapping.
Familiarity with video scripting, podcast content, and digital campaign storytelling.
Comfort working with creative teams such as video editors, designers, and marketing strategists.
