Job Responsibilities:


Research industry-related topics & update website content as needed (combining online sources, interviews and studies). Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication. Submit work to editors for input and approval. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic. Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).

Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones Impeccable spelling and grammar A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online Great research, organizational, and learning skills High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices Some experience with online marketing and lead generation * An understanding of formatting articles on the web
