Job Summary

The Content Writer will be responsible for researching, planning, writing, and optimizing content for blogs, website pages, landing pages, emailers, and social media, with a strong focus on SEO and lead generation. The ideal candidate is a self-driven writer who understands search intent, can simplify technical topics, and align content with marketing and business goals.?

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Research industry-related topics (web hosting, cloud, domains, security, Software licensing etc.) and generate content ideas aligned with the content calendar.? Write clear, original, and engaging blog posts, website content, landing pages, emailers, product descriptions, and social media copy.? Conduct keyword research using SEO tools and map primary/secondary keywords to each content piece.? Optimize on-page SEO elements including titles, headings, meta descriptions, image alt text, URLs, and internal links while maintaining readability.? Structure content using SEO best practices (search intent, subheadings, FAQs, schema-friendly sections where applicable).? Update and refresh existing content to improve rankings, click-through rate, and conversions based on performance data.? Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to plan campaigns, landing pages, and downloadable assets (guides, ebooks, case studies).? Ensure all content is grammatically correct, factually accurate, plagiarism-free, and consistent with brand tone and style guidelines.? Coordinate with SEO/marketing team to track performance via Google Analytics/Search Console and suggest improvements.? Stay updated with SEO and content trends, Google updates, and competitor content strategies.?

SEO-Specific Responsibilities

Perform topic and keyword research for pillar pages, blogs, and supporting cluster content.? Implement internal linking strategies between new and existing articles to strengthen topical authority.? Optimize content for featured snippets and long-tail queries by answering key questions clearly and concisely.? Follow basic technical SEO hygiene for content (page structure, use of headings, readability, and indexability signals in collaboration with SEO team).?

Required Skills and Qualifications

1-3 years of experience as a Content Writer / SEO Content Writer / Copywriter in a digital/tech/SaaS/web hosting environment (freshers with strong portfolios can be considered).? Excellent writing and editing skills in English with strong grammar and attention to detail.? Proven experience in writing SEO-optimized content for blogs and websites; basic understanding of on-page SEO.? Ability to research topics using multiple sources and convert complex/technical concepts into simple, user-friendly content.? Familiarity with CMS tools like WordPress or similar platforms.? Basic understanding of Google Analytics/Search Console or willingness to learn.? Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.?

Preferred / Good-to-Have

Experience in web hosting, cloud, SaaS, or IT services domain.? Experience creating long-form assets such as guides, ebooks, whitepapers, or case studies.? Basic understanding of social media content strategy and email marketing.? Knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar SEO platforms.?
