Biology, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering.

The ideal candidates will have proven expertise in

Alt Text creation

and bring strong subject knowledge to ensure accurate, meaningful, and accessible descriptions of educational and technical content.

Key Responsibilities

Create accurate, concise, and descriptive

Alt Text

for images, diagrams, graphs, and complex illustrations. Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance) are met in all descriptions. Collaborate with editorial and content teams to maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality. subject matter expertise to contextualize and simplify complex visuals for diverse learners. Review and validate alt text content prepared by other team members, ensuring clarity and correctness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate / Postgraduate degree in

Biology, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering

(as per opening).

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Alt Text writing

for academic or technical content. Strong subject matter knowledge with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Excellent command of written English with attention to detail. Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and best practices in digital content.

Good to Have

Experience in academic publishing or e-learning projects. Exposure to STEM content accessibility standards. * Quality review or team mentoring experience.
