About the Role
We're looking for a
creative and detail-oriented Content Writer
to craft engaging, research-based, and SEO-optimized content across multiple digital platforms -- including websites, blogs, emails, ads, and social media.
The ideal candidate has a passion for writing, a strong sense of brand tone, and the ability to produce high-quality content that drives engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities1. Website & Blog Content
Research, write, and update website pages and blogs with accurate, SEO-friendly information.
Maintain a monthly blog calendar and ensure consistent publishing of trending and relevant topics.
Audit and improve existing content to align with brand goals and tone.
KPI:
10-20 blogs published monthly with 95% approval rate; 100% website content updated and research-backed.
2. Brand Consistency & Editing
Proofread and edit all content to ensure error-free delivery and tone consistency across all channels.
Maintain uniform grammar, style, and brand voice in all communications.
Track competitor content and share actionable insights for improvement.
KPI:
95%+ consistency score; monthly competitive content analysis integrated into planning.
3. Creative Copywriting (Ads, Captions & Emails)
Create catchy ad copies and campaign captions for Meta, Google, and other platforms.
Draft promotional emails and WhatsApp templates for course and workshop promotions.
Develop hooks, taglines, and short-form content for lead generation and awareness.
KPI:
90%+ approval rate; 5-10 ad copy variations per campaign; ?20% open rate and ?5% CTR on email/WhatsApp campaigns.
4. Social Media & Community Content
Write creative posts, carousel captions, and storytelling content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Collaborate with designers to ensure timely delivery as per content calendars.
Prepare student success stories and testimonials for digital campaigns.
KPI:
?90% posts published as per content plan; measurable engagement growth (likes, shares, saves).
5. Video Scripts & Storytelling
Write engaging video scripts for promotional videos, YouTube explainers, and testimonials.
Coordinate with the creative/media team to match tone, pacing, and visual direction.
Adapt scripts for English and bilingual (Malayalam-English) formats when required.
KPI:
4-6 approved video scripts per month; 95% on-time delivery.
6. Persona Research & Campaign Messaging
Develop creative audience personas with goals, motivations, and content hooks.
Align messaging strategies with specific campaign objectives and audience types.
KPI:
2-3 detailed personas per month; personas actively used in campaign messaging.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Marketing.
1-3 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
Excellent writing, editing, and research skills (English + Malayalam preferred).
Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing trends, and ad copy styles.
Familiarity with tools like Canva, ChatGPT, Grammarly, or similar writing/AI tools.
