The Associate/ Sr. Associate Content Writer will develop high-quality content for social media, blogs, reports, and event coverage, while conducting research as required. This role suits creative self-starters with proven writing experience, keen research skills, and the ability to adapt content for varying platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit engaging, high-quality content across platforms for social media, website, newsletters, blogs, and organizational communications.
Edit and structure long-form reports, policy briefs, and research publications for clarity, accessibility, and impact.
Collaborate with research, marketing, events, and design teams to ensure content consistency across projects.
Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure timely dissemination of organizational priorities and campaigns.
Research and draft thought leadership pieces, op-eds, and blog articles aligned with CEED's thematic focus.
Optimize web and digital content for SEO and enhanced online visibility.
Proofread and review content for accuracy, flow, and adherence to CEED's style and tone.
Assist in writing event reports, summaries, and key outcomes for stakeholders and external communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Policy, or a related field.
3-6 years of professional writing and editing experience (policy, research, or social sector experience preferred).
Strong grasp of both long-form (reports, research, op-eds) and short-form (social, web, newsletters) content.
Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail and narrative flow.
Ability to distill complex research into accessible, compelling content.
Familiarity with SEO, digital media trends, and content management systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
