Job Summary We need a creative, smart and savvy content writer, who understands how the major search engines work and what people are searching for when they visit particular websites. Their job is to ensure that their clients\xe2\x80\x99 content is relevant enough to create interest for consumers, plus answer any of their questions and possibly convert them into a customer. Responsibilities and Duties \xe2\x97\x8f Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) \xe2\x97\x8f Write a clear marketing copy to promote our products/services \xe2\x97\x8f Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems \xe2\x97\x8f Proofread and edit blog posts before publication \xe2\x97\x8f Submit work to editors for input and approval \xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate the article \xe2\x97\x8f Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic \xe2\x97\x8f Promote content on social media. \xe2\x97\x8f Identify customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones \xe2\x97\x8f Impeccable spelling and grammar \xe2\x97\x8f Great research, organisational, and learning skills \xe2\x97\x8f High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs \xe2\x97\x8f Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practises \xe2\x97\x8f Some experience with online marketing and lead generation.
