Role Purpose

The Content Writer (Healthcare) is responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging English content for healthcare marketing and communication, ensuring medical accuracy while maintaining brand tone and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Write healthcare-focused content for websites, blogs, social media, and digital campaigns Develop patient-friendly content explaining medical services, procedures, and specialties Create content for brochures, presentations, posters, and internal communications Work closely with doctors, operations, and marketing teams to validate medical accuracy Ensure content aligns with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and brand voice Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy Adapt medical terminology into easy-to-understand language for patients

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Life Sciences, or Healthcare-related field

2-5 years

of English content writing experience in healthcare or medical domain Proven portfolio of healthcare or medical content

Core Skills & Expertise

Excellent English writing and editing skills Strong understanding of healthcare terminology and patient communication Ability to balance medical accuracy with marketing readability Research capability using reliable medical sources Attention to detail and compliance awareness

Preferred / Value-Add Skills

Experience in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare brands Knowledge of SEO content writing for healthcare websites Familiarity with patient education materials and consent-safe language Experience working with multi-location or international healthcare setups
