Role Overview

AG Publishing House is looking for a Content Writer & Proofreader who can create clear, engaging written material and also check manuscripts for accuracy before publication. The role needs strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle both content development and proofreading tasks.

Key Responsibilities

i. Write original content for books, articles, study materials, and publishing projects.

ii. Rewrite, refine, and improve the provided content when required.

iii. Proofread and edit manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.

iv. Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all documents.

v. Conduct basic research to support content creation.

vi. Follow the writing style and formatting guidelines of the publishing house.

vii. Coordinate with editors, designers, and other team members.

viii. Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Required Skills

i. Strong command of English (Hindi knowledge is a plus).

ii. Good writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

iii. High attention to detail and error-spotting skills.

iv. Basic research ability and understanding of academic/book-style writing.

v. Good communication and time-management skills.

vi. Ability to work on several documents at once.

Additional Advantage

Good typing speed and accuracy

(preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

0-2 years (Freshers with strong writing skills may also apply).

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
