Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, trends, and target audience behavior
Develop clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content based on briefs and campaign goals
Ensure all content is optimized for SEO (keywords, metadata, readability)
Editing
Proofread and edit content produced by internal and freelance writers for accuracy, grammar, tone, and brand consistency
Ensure all written materials are aligned with brand voice, editorial guidelines, and digital marketing goals
Rewrite and repurpose content to suit different platforms and audiences
Fact-check information and cross-verify sources when needed
Strategy & Collaboration
Collaborate with designers, social media managers, and SEO teams to bring content to life
Contribute to content calendars and participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas
Analyze content performance metrics to suggest improvements and new content ideas
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field
2-4 years of proven experience in content writing/editing in a digital marketing or agency environment
Strong portfolio showcasing versatility across long-form and short-form content
Excellent command of the English language with impeccable grammar and style
Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Yoast, Google Keyword Planner)
Working knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and editorial workflows
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
A keen eye for detail and strong editorial judgment
