Cargo Insights: h?ps://cargoinsights.co/ | CargoNXT: h?ps://cargonxt.co/ Role Overview: We are looking for an Jr. / Assistant Editor to support the editorial leadership of Cargo Insights and CargoNXT. This role will focus on content development, research, edi?ng, and execu?on across our monthly magazine and event pla?orms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, comfortable with AI-enabled workflows, and proac?ve in ensuring tasks get done. Key Responsibili?es: ₹ Support the Editor in managing editorial calendars for Cargo Insights (magazine) and CargoNXT (event content). ? Research and dra? ar?cles, interviews, features, and industry updates. ? Assist in cura?ng discussion topics, speaker notes, and event collateral for CargoNXT conferences. ? Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. ? Work closely with contributors, freelancers, and industry stakeholders to gather material. ? Coordinate with design, marke?ng, and opera?ons teams to ensure ?mely publishing and delivery. ? Use AI tools for research, dra?ing, and content op?miza?on while maintaining editorial standards. ? Ensure deadlines are met and tasks are executed efficiently with minimal follow-up. ? Represent the publica?on/event in industry interac?ons when required. Requirements: ₹ Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communica?on, English, or related field. ? 2-5 years of editorial experience in publishing, business media, or events. ? Strong wri?ng and edi?ng skills with a?en?on to detail. ? Understanding of logis?cs, supply chain, or trade industry is a plus. ? Comfort with AI-driven tools for content research, edi?ng, and produc?vity. ? Proven ability to get work done organized, reliable, and proac?ve in mee?ng commitments. ? Strong communica?on and coordina?on skills to work across teams. ? Familiarity with publishing pla?orms, MS Office, and digital content workflows. Compensa?on: ₹ CTC: ₹3.0 - 4.0 LPA (depending on experience, skills, and fit). ?
