- RedCrabs is seeking a talented and strategic Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing impactful content strategies that align with client goals and engage their target audiences. You'll work closely with our SEO, design, creative, and client services teams to create data-driven content plans that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop audience-centric, data informed content strategies across digital platforms including web, email, social media, and SEO.
- Conduct thorough content audits and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities and content gaps.
- Collaborate with clients and cross functional teams to understand brand voice, business objectives, and user journeys .
- Manage and maintain content calendars covering blog posts, social media, video, newsletters and more.
- Provide editorial direction, tone of voice guidelines, and messaging frameworks to ensure brand consistency.
- Optimize content for SEO, web readability, and UX best practices.
- Analyze content performance using key metrics and refine strategies to maximize effectiveness.
- Guide and mentor content writers and creators, ensuring alignment with strategy and brand tone
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, ideally within a marketing agency environment.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content analytics.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs, HubSpot, CMS platforms, and content planning software.
- A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with both B2B and B2C clients across various industries.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and their influence on content performance.
- Basic understanding of paid media and how it complements content strategy.
